International exhibition with participation of EAEU heads of government started in Astana

On September 25, the International Industrial Exhibition INNOPROM.QAZAQSTAN started in Astana. The exhibition is held with the participation of national and regional expositions, as well as the largest companies from the EAEU countries. Within the framework of the event, expositions of Kazakhstan, Russia, Armenia and over 300 companies in thematic sections are presented on more than 12 thousand square meters. Among them: medical equipment and products, chemical industry, metallurgy, industrial IT, mechanical engineering, construction industry and furniture industry, energy engineering and light industry. The authorities of the EAEU countries and business representatives shared their thoughts on industrial cooperation and the prospects for the development of production within the framework of international cooperation. Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Alikhan Smailov noted the growth of trade between the five countries. An important role, he said, in industrialization is played by technologies, in particular artificial intelligence. President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has repeatedly stressed that industrialization should become the main driver of economic diversification. Therefore, at the head of the Government, the task is to accelerate the development of the manufacturing industry, forming a solid industrial framework and ensuring economic self-sufficiency.
