Construction Design Consultation Services Introduced in Kazakhstan from July 1, 2026

The Construction Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan came into effect on July 1, 2026. Under Article 114 of the Code, state expert organizations and accredited expert organizations are authorized to provide consultation services in the field of construction design.
To implement this provision, the Minister of Industry and Construction of the Republic of Kazakhstan approved the Rules for Providing Consultation Services in the Field of Construction Design by Order No. 264 dated May 29, 2026. The Rules establish the procedure for providing consultation services and set the applicable service fees.
Consultation services may be requested by clients or design organizations whenever clarification is needed during the preparation of construction design documentation.
The new framework will enable clients and design organizations to obtain professional guidance on the application of legislation and technical regulations in the preparation of construction design documentation, helping to prevent potential issues at the earliest stages of project development.
