RSE “Gosexpertiza” on the construction of a new power plant in Kyzylorda

Construction and installation works for the project of a new power plant based on a combined cycle gas turbine (CCGT) in Kyzylorda, which received a positive opinion from RSE “Gosexpertiza”, will last for 27 months.
According to the project, the construction will take place on the territory of the Kyzylorda CHP (State Utility Enterprise “KTEC”). The capacity of the new CHP will be 240 MW of electricity and 277 Gcal/h of heat energy.
The client of the construction project is Aksa Energy Qyzylorda LLP, and the design was developed by Engineering Company Kazgiproneftetrans LLP in cooperation with Electro Detal Design LLP.
The project documentation provides for the installation of one hot-water boiler house consisting of four hot-water boilers, two gas turbines with an electric generator, two waste-heat boilers, a steam turbine with an electric generator, as well as bypass and flue stacks.
