RSE “Gosexpertiza” and LLP “Kalamkas-Khazar Operating” sign memorandum of cooperation on the Kalamkas Sea – Khazar project

In order to exchange experience, RSE “Gosexpertiza” signed a memorandum of cooperation with LLP “Kalamkas-Khazar Operating” regarding the Kalamkas Sea – Khazar project.
The parties agreed to collaborate in several areas, including familiarization with unique production facilities and comprehensive analysis of project solutions involving experts from Gosexpertiza.
The signing ceremony was attended by directors of RSE “Gosexpertiza,” JSC NC “KazMunayGas,” and PJSC “Lukoil.”
Project overview: The Kalamkas Sea – Khazar project includes the construction of two offshore ice-resistant platforms, a coastal technological complex, and marine linear facilities connecting the platforms to the onshore infrastructure. Construction will take place at Kazakh shipyards.
Background: LLP “Kalamkas-Khazar Operating” was registered in February 2023. The company develops the Kalamkas Sea, Khazar, and Auezov fields on the Caspian Sea shelf.
