Seminar on design and expertise of Radiation-hazardous facilities held

On May 29–30, 2025, a training seminar titled “Radiation safety and protection” took place in Almaty. Nine experts from the central office and branches of RSE “Gosexpertiza,” specializing in sanitary-epidemiological expertise, participated in the event.
Over the two days, seminar participants examined key issues of radiation hygiene in depth, including aspects related to the design, expertise, and implementation of construction, reconstruction, and major repair projects for radiation-hazardous facilities.
Participants included experts from the sanitary-epidemiological expertise sector of the central office of RSE “Gosexpertiza” – E. I. Sansyzbayev, R. K. Sagandykova, D. A. Kulmakhanova, G. E. Zhankulova – as well as representatives from the branches: R. A. Muzafarov, A. Z. Abdrahmanova, A. A. Nekroshevich, A. G. Altaeva, and G. T. Absattarova.
Upon completion of the 16-hour course, all participants received certificates confirming successful completion of the training.
The seminar contributed to enhancing the professional competencies of experts and facilitated the exchange of practical experience in ensuring radiation safety during sanitary-epidemiological expertise.
