Almaty branch of RSE “Gosexpertiza” holds videoconference meeting on improving legislative framework for Anti-corruption

On June 18, 2025, to implement the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan’s address and the 2025 Anti-corruption action plan of the Almaty Branch of RSE “Gosexpertiza,” a meeting on “Improving the legislative foundations of Anti-corruption” was held for branch employees via the QOSYL videoconferencing platform.
The meeting was opened with an introductory speech by the Branch Director, S.Lekerov, who noted that the branch regularly works to foster an anti-corruption culture among employees through various formats, including lectures, seminars, and discussions.
The following topics were covered during the meeting:
1. Adopted legislative measures;
2. New system of citizen incentives;
3. Criminal liability for provocation to commit a crime;
4. Prohibition on holding accounts, cash, and valuables;
5. Exclusion of parole for individuals convicted of corruption offenses;
6. Tougher penalties for corruption among law enforcement officers and judges;
7. Tougher penalties for bribers;
8. Tougher penalties for intermediaries in bribery;
9. Corruption prevention and awareness measures.
At the conclusion of the meeting, responsible branch officials were given the corresponding instructions.
