Employees of RSE “Gosexpertiza” complete training on International BIM Standards from buildingSMART Kazakhstan

On August 26, 2025, employees of the BIM Technologies department of RSE “Gosexpertiza” successfully completed training on international standards for Building Information Modeling (BIM), organized by buildingSMART Kazakhstan — the official representative of buildingSMART International in Kazakhstan.
Course participants included:
• D. Chaika, Head of the BIM Technologies department
• S. Kashkimbaev, Chief specialist of the BIM Technologies Department
buildingSMART is a global industry organization promoting digital transformation in the construction sector. Its mission is to improve the efficiency of design, construction, and operation of buildings through the use of open international standards and modern solutions.
As part of the training program, specialists studied:
• The international standard ISO 19650;
• The OpenBIM concept;
• The history of BIM development worldwide and in Kazakhstan;
• Best practices for implementing TIMSO — information modeling technologies in the construction industry.
Upon successful completion of the exam, participants were awarded the buildingSMART professional certification – Foundation “Basic” international certificate.
