Project for the Construction of a Terminal at Arkalyk Airport receives positive approval from the State expertise

In accordance with the directive of the Head of State, announced at the IV session of the National Kurultai, measures are being implemented in the Kostanay region to restore the airport and the runway in the city of Arkalyk.
The project includes the following main types of work:
• Construction of the airport terminal;
• Construction of the emergency-rescue station building;
• Construction of a garage building;
• Construction of an autonomous block-modular boiler house;
• Construction of a covered coal shed;
• Construction of a pumping station and two reservoirs of 200 m³ each;
• Construction of on-site engineering networks.
The purpose of the terminal is to serve domestic flight passengers.
Passenger capacity: 70 passengers per hour.
The design and estimate documentation has been prepared and divided into two phases. The project client is the State institution “Department of passenger transport and highways of the Akimat of Kostanay region.”
• Phase One — “Construction of the terminal at Arkalyk Airport in Kostanay region with an autonomous boiler house,” general designer: LLP “Stron-Holding.”
• Phase Two — “Reconstruction of the runway, taxiway, and apron at Arkalyk Airport in Kostanay region,” general designers: LLP “ENKI ENGINEERING.”
Both projects received positive approval from the RSE “Gosexpertiza.”
The implementation of this project has strategic significance for improving the region’s transport accessibility and the socio-economic development of the city of Arkalyk.
