ABOUT CONSTRUCTION OF SEWAGE TREATMENT PLANTS OF BALKHASH CITY

On September, 15th, 2011 in Agency on affairs of construction and housing and communal services of Republic of Kazakhstan have been considered materials on updating the technical - economic feasibility «Construction of sewage treatment plants of Balkhash city».
The technical - economic feasibility is considered in ASE «Karagandagosexpertiza».
The customer of the project: SI «Department of natural resources and environmental management of the Karaganda area»
The general designer: LLC «MGT-project»
Necessity of updating of the technical - economic feasibility has been caused by the following reasons:
1) in 2009 the «General plan for development of Balkhash city» for settlement period up to 2018 according to which the population in view of prospect of development was established in 80 thousand inhabitants has been approved. Thus it was necessary to increase the maximal charges of sewage up to 48,0 thousand cubic meters per day, unlike earlier approved 40,0 thousand cubic meters per day;
2) necessity of application of the newest technologies of clearing of drains;
3) necessity of change of a platform of an arrangement of sewer clearing constructions (SCC);
4) necessity of the complex decision of problems of system of the water drain of Balkhash city, namely, reconstruction of a pressure head sewer collector, reconstruction SPS-6 (Sewer-Pump Station) and carrying out from a security zone of lake Balkhash SPS-3;
5) the decision of a problem of secondary use of the cleared sewer water.
The social importance of the project is defined by an acuteness of a problem of sewage treatment plants which now in Balkhash city is absent. After realization of the project conditions in city will improve ecological and sanitary-and-epidemiologic. Realization of the project will demand use of an additional manpower and by that Balkhash will positively affect employment of the population.
