On measures for clearing lake Komsomolsk in a city boundaries Nizhnevartovsk with technology Geotube®

By the invitation of the company of LLC «AdmirEurasia» (Russian Federation) from August, 31st till September, 1st, 2011 experts RSE «Gosexpertiza», and also representatives of Department of energy and municipal services of Astana and LLC «Kurylysekspertproekt» from Karaganda (the customer and the developer of the project «Liquidation of store «Taldykol» with revegetation in Astana») have visited the Russian city of Nizhnevartovsk where have familiarized with technology of clearing of lake Komsomolsk.
Urban natural reservoir is located in a park area of Nizhnevartovsk and stagnant lake with the an area of water about 30 hectares. Additional charging of lake occurs due to atmospheric precipitation and other drains from adjoining territory. The given conditions of filling of a reservoir have led to its gradual shallowing. Except for that in it the weight of ground adjournment and dust has increased. Flowering lake is as a result observed, in water the maintenance of the dissolved oxygen decreases, its transparency goes down, unpleasant smells are formed, there is a pauperization ecosystems.
For improvement of ecological conditions on lake and in territory adjoining to them it has been decided to make its clearing and dredging by means of technology to dehydrate in geotextile containers Geotube ® (production TenCate Geosynthetics). Total amount of the ground adjournment which are a subject withdrawal and to dehydrate in containers Geotube ®, is about 350 thousand cubic meters. Withdrawal of silt will increase the average depth of lake from 1,5 up to 2 meters.
At the moment, is the development of sediment gidromehanized dredger and their injection into containers Geotube ®.
This modern and effective technology it decided to apply and to clearing store «Taldukol» in capital of Kazakhstan.
