RSE "Gosexpertiza” has participated on the world road congress and in the organization of carrying out of the international examination under conceptual approaches in planning a transport infrastructure of city of Astana

From September, 17 till September, 21st, 2007 in Paris, recognized by one of the world centers of neourbanism, 23-rd world road congress initiated by the International Organization of the Road congresses (PIARC), objectively considered oldest of the international organizations, engaged city streets, external roads and road engineering took place.

Carrying out of the world road congress is an original platform for professionals from all world on discussion of questions of planning and development, management and operation of roads and road transport. Participants of the congress of steel over 3000 experts in the field of road construction from more than 100 countries of the world. In number invited for participation in this international forum there was also a head of sector of transport of industrial department RSE "Gosexpertiza  Sokolov Alexander.

During carrying out of the congress participants have visited the exhibition center of world famous manufacturers of the equipment and materials for road construction, have familiarized with modern technologies of low temperature covering of roads, have heard to reports and the presentations, to the devoted basic problems and tasks in the field of designing and construction of highways.

Acquaintance to measures on perfection and development of a transport infrastructure in large cities and capitals of some states in a vein of their town-planning growth and building, including on a practical example of capital of France, results of this analysis allow to compare to planning city of Astana. Especially it to become actual at drawing up of the basic transport scheme for our growing capital which will be called to establish optimum and effective housing density on city blocks (development areas) with rational use of again mastered territories which should be accompanied by maintenance of a high degree of quality of an environment.

So, in this year Akimat of city of Astana and Committee of construction and housing and communal services under The Ministry of industry and trade of Republic of Kazakhstan on behalf of the President of the country the international examination under the project «Concepts of territorial development of city of Astana and a residential suburb till 2030 (adjusting of the general plan)» which basic idea, on a plan of author's group, was based on concentration of an overwhelming part of building of capital inside of a belt line of diameters of 16 kilometers with extent of a ring of 48 kilometers for city of Astana at a settlement population on 2030 in 1,2 million inhabitants has been lead.

Thus it was easily possible to notice the certain similarity of this idea with so-called «a big ring» Paris. The combined scheme with a district motorway in Paris with diameter of this ring in 10 kilometers and its common extent of 35 kilometers which provides this European city with the population in 2,15 million inhabitants in administrative borders of city and more than 12,0 million inhabitants of the Big Paris. Comparison has shown appreciable, in comparison with it, disproportion of the Kazakhstan offer.

As a result of the lead examination with preliminary hearing the Kazakhstan architects - authors of the Concept, and also authors of alternative recommendations on improvement of a transport infrastructure of city of Astana from representation of the company «Singapore Technologies Engineering», the international commission of experts had been made the summary conclusion which is supposed to be presented together with the report of the Government to the President of the country.
